Located just below the Tropic of Cancer on the Sea of Cortez, Hotel Bahia Los Frailes lies 30 miles northeast of Los Cabos.

Here in the East Cape region you'll find the best fishing in all of Baja in an area that extends from the Gordo Banks, 20 miles south of Los Frailes to the Buena Vista area, 25 miles to the north.

Swimming, diving, and snorkeling are unsurpassed in the Los Frailes area of Baja California. 700-foot deep Los Frailes Bay is protected from the northern winds in November through April by Los Frailes mountain. The warmer water temperature and very gentle surf make for perfect swimming and kayaking conditions year round.

The northern most coral reef in the eastern Pacific grows in five to forty feet of water in the Cabo Pulmo Marine Park. The living coral reef is designated an underwater park by the Mexican government (no taking fish or shellfish of any kind is allowed).
